Vauxhall Astra 1.4i niggly problems

Hi all,

I have two small annoyances with my Astra.

Every so often I get a lack of power when starting to accelerate, almost like a misfire but only for a second (if that). It doesn't happen every time and only seems to happen when I am in low revs. The engine management light doesn't come on. I asked at my local Vauxhall dealer but they said unless the problem becomes more prevalent they wouldn't be able to spot the problem on the computer. It has been happening for the past 6 months. I have changed the plugs and even put some additive in the petrol to no avail.

Any Ideas ......?

The drivers seat belt doesn't roll back in very quickly, can it be lubricated anywhere....?

bit hard to diagnose but could be ht leads,filter etc... check the basic cheap things first with a mini service and go from there

I put some Redex in the petrol last Saturday and it seems to be going Ok now. (Keeping my fingers crossed). Hopefully it was just a dirty injector.

The last time I added a STP additive which didn't seem to do anything.
