Vauxhall combo sliding door lock

Just bought a vauxhall combo van 2011 1.3 cdti

The sliding door does not open, I have took the door card off and looks like someone has already had a look as some cable have been disconnected.

is there anyway of unlocking the door from the inside.

The van has central locking but not remote, ie no buttons on the key fob.

I have tried pulling the cables and moving what ever I can from inside the door, but the door still seems to be stuck fast.

anybody got any ideas................

Push the back of the sliding door to make the pins connect better with the central locking connector.

Thanks, I have tried that. As well as drilling out a deadlock at the bottom of the door.
I have managed to turn the deadlock 1/4 turn ( not sure if this is enough but won't go any further !! )

Think I will get someone to activate the central locking while I push on the door.
