Velux roof lights - gap size

This is probably a basic question but i will be ordering some roof lights for my extension soon, if the size I am ordering is 780 x 1180 then the gap i leave in the roof structure is the same correct? There is no extra required i.e 800 x 1200 for frame etc? (obviously leave an extra mm or so for tolerance)

I don't want them on site until I'm ready to put them in, but never put them in before so don't know what I am getting.

20mm - 40mm gap up each side. If you are using their own insulated skirts then follow their spacing guidelines religiously.

That would be wise the thing you don't want to do is end up with the skylight 3 and a quarter tiles from the end of the roof.
