Do i need planning permission to put a velux window in? The loft in the house ive bought already has electrics and has a solid floor its been used as a games room but no window .I would like one do i need planning permission

unless your in a conservation i dont think so.

you would need building regs....call your local planning dept and ask if you need a planning app
