Hi complete novice with wood,but i am thinking of using oak veneer on mdf to make some doors to fit a alcove,the wife wants some contempary style doors .What is this type of sheet like to work with and cut ,it comes in 8x4 sheets so am i best let the merchant cut them as all i have is a circular saw .A bit worried i may rip the veneer any thoughts or advice appreciated thanks

Buy cut to size and save yourself a lot of hassle, transporting an 8X4 and cutting without damage is a struggle on your own.
