I need to add a timed extractor fan to my new upstairs toilet & I need to vent thru the roof tiles & access is easy from the loft & the roof itself

Our roof is 1950's era clay tiles around 7" wide, what type of pipe vent do I need to make it waterproof ?

I think you are in trouble before you stat to be honest.

Pipe will be 110mm but maybe 100mm.

You remove the tiles, and trim the battens to take the pipe, slide a weathering slate, over the bottom tiles, then trim and fit all the tiles starting at the lower row and working up.

You terminate the pipe with a chinamans hat or a double 90% bend.

Probably be a lot easier to go through the wall.

You are asking for leaks if you decide to disturb the roofing! :D
