vent pipe position

i'm fitting hot water cylinder for new bathroom,the cwsc is not directly above it,is it ok to for vent pipe to go through ceiling then across loft about a metre before going up and over cistern.the cwsc is in middle of roof to allow it to be raised but vent pipe would come through at edge of loft so there is no way it can go straight up and over cwsc.

Less is best. However we don't all live in a perfect world so try and make as few restrictions as possible ie bends, fittings, etc.

thanks for reply,i know this way is not ideal but there really is no other way just wanted to know if it was possible,will pull bends instead of joints and hope its ok.kind regards

Just ensure there are no dips in it, should rise all the way, if only just 'off' the horizontal.
