I am looking to maximise my roof space for solar panels but as you can see in the image, I have a vent pipe protruding through the roof.
What is a suitable solution to move/reduce the pipe??
Would I need to employ both a plumber and roofer?
Cheers
Doug
Plumbers always sort out boiler roof exhaust and soil pipes most of the time..
Originally plumbers did all the roof leadworks but sometime around the 1940s it started to change to a roofers job. Maybe modern plumbers don't want to do it? But I've never seen a roofer involved

Not now they don't - some may take it on (if they want to risk it and dice with danger) - some don't (if they're risk aware, sensible and want a long life).
Yes, plumbers used to do roof lead work - a looooong time ago - flashing/aprons/lead slates etc but it was always done alongside the roofer (was part of the lead soldering training/expertise) - I did it as part of my C&G tech course 30 odd years ago and I was one of the last, hasn't been part of the plumbing professional C&Q courses for many many years, it's now the roofers/builders job.
I haven't clambered about on a roof for years - not worth my life thanx - roofers have all the necessary safety equipment and scaffolding etc to do that.
