Hi all.
I'm looking to move my combi from an upstairs room to a downstairs kitchen.
Upstairs, the vent goes vertical through the roof.
Downstairs the vent will be positioned through a side wall.
When booking a suitable combi man to move the boiler, would he fix the roof?
Or do I also need to employ a roofer?
Cheers
Doug

How old is your boiler?

Been a RGI for over 30 years, did not know there was a type of fitter that was ‘suitable combi man’

Its a 7yr old combi being moved downstairs due to bathroom refurb.
I may just leave the old vent in situ for the time being as I intend to do some roof work later in the year, so might as well leave it until then.

I can't see a problem the plumber / Heating engineer needs to be sure that the gas supply is still adequate and you can get to the 22mm flow and returns on the boiler.
