Vented HW cylinder stat and programmer installation

I'm looking to install a thermostat and hot water programmer to my copper cylinder. Currently it only has 2 immersions (regular and boost) with the 2 spurs on the wall respectively.
I am competent at DIY, plumbing and electrics and looking to do the work myself.
I can buy the bits but need some help in understanding which flex core cable to get and how to wire the stat plus the programmer to the spur and immersion element

I’m not sure what you’re going to achieve with a cylinder thermostat. Flex cable needs to be rated for the immersion programmer/timer.
