Hi,

I have 2 rooms/cubicles that get very hot, I don't really want to fit air-con.
Are there any ways I could ventilate the rooms/cubicles with outside air... or do you have any other ideas?

PS.
the rooms are internal, not on a outside wall.

I was thinking some way of getting some outside air ducted in???
If that's possible maybe or somthing along those lines?

You can always get some flexi hose and vent covers and when the wind blows it might extract air out or blow air in  ;) i'm sure someone will give a better answer, ;) come on gcol and co where are u's

can you ventilate through the roof space and thence outside?
If you have a vent in the ceiling going upwards and venting through the roof, thermal convection will cause warm or moist air to flow up and out, with no fan required.

Usually fresh cool air will be drawn in under the door from the rest of the building. This can cause cold draughts downstairs so you may need to provide a cool air in duct.

I think it's a business, with 2 x 50A tanning beds making the cubes hot.

How did I know that?

That is in a way how it is now.
The cubicles go straight to the ceiling so hot air can get into the roof space, while the rest of the same area outside the cubicle is a lowered ceiling.
But it's not good enough really.

I think more info needed ie house and how many floors/flat upper or lower etc.. ;)
salon
ground floor only (like a bugalow)
roof space is empty but floor boarded and has one window in the roof space that has n glass... it's sort of a metal decrotive(ish) panel with some apetures.

Extractor fan
yeah, sounds worth a shot to despense with the heat into the roof space.

is there anyway to duct outside air into the cubicles/small rooms?
(bare in mind the rooms are internal and not on an outside wall)
I don't know if this is possible, but I could run duct from an external wall probably.... supplying outside air low in the room?
