Hello, I wanted to ask how concerned I should be about this crack by my has meter box. I have no idea how long it has been there as only moved in a few months ago!

Please go easy on me

As it's fairly even, possibly a shrinkage crack? Nothing to worry about.

That crack is not below DPC, as per the thread title.

A shrinkage crack would not normally be expected to extend below DPC

I think it actually starts at the DPC and then travels down! It is quite high up at this part of the property

Shrinkage then. And it looks old.

Most such cracks are one time only from a random seasonal event.

Same amount of worry whether above or below - not much. More worry if above and below.

You may want to have it pointed up or filled with a clear mastic at some stage though.

@op; two posters have questioned the height of your dpc, which tbh is understandable.
Are you absolutely sure your dpc is that height? If so, it would be very unusual. Any shrinkage cracking usually happens above the dpc, which forms a sort of slip-plane.

The door is in line with where the crack starts and thst is floor level! I'm almost certain that is where it is based on the evidence but could be wrong!
