I have just bought a Quinn 'slieve' design double radiator 1600x723 horizontal. This is to be fitted to an outside wall of a 30 year old extension made from Thermal Blocks (no bricks). The weight of this radiator is so heavy that I cannot lift one end of it and am concerned that the wall will not hold that kind of weight. I have contacted the manufacturers, who do not make feet/stands for this model.
Does anyone have any suggestions please?

I am not familiar with that particular rad.

However, I have always managed to use 12mm or 18 mm plywood or other solid board products to support the rad and spread the load over multiple wall fixings.

drill the holes under size for brown plugs and push them home they will go then use 4 inch number 12 screws that should hold it perfectly ok . Themilites are a blooming pain for getting a sound fix there is proper thermalite plugs that just hammer in without drilling
