Very Hot Water in Loft expansion tank!!!!

Hi all,

Just had a new pump, hot cylinder, cold loft tank, programmer and tank, room stats fitted.

I went up in the loft and the expansion tank (the small one) is full of very hot water!!!!

Is there a problem and do I need to call back the heating engineers?

Any and all help much appreciated.
