I recently drained the CH system and mains water supply to remove a radiator and plumb in a new sink/tap unit, and after refilling the system and bleeding the radiators, there is a very noisy gushing happening during the heating cycle. In addition to this, the motorized valve tends to move from the central mains(M) position to HW(W) only, requiring a hard shove to get it back into place.

Can anyone help me find a cure to this frustrating noise?

FYI: The boiler is a Glow-worm 52 Super

sounds like air.

what have you got calling for heat and what position is the valve in ?

what needs a shove ?
