Hi,

I'm trying to renovate the floorboards in my flat but I'm at a loss with how to remove some metal fixings before I sand them. I'm thinking they're some sort of rawl plug? Not sure. I've attached photos in album below.

any ideas on how to deal with these would be appreciated as they are the only flaw in my lovely floor.

Thanks,
Sharon

Not seen those before but they look like some kind of annular ring fixings - so they won't screw out. Best bet is to punch them below the surface and then use a good wood filler over them.
