Victorian Roof Timber- What Type!

I am able to get a constant supply of timber from roofing and loft conversion companies i work for to use in my wood burning stove. The timber is from roof's of Victorian and Edwardian houses and i was wondering what type timber it is. Obviously completely dry and it does burn relatively quickly but its free and i get plenty of it. Anyone.......
