Victorian style bathroom with wood paneling - help!

The panelling used to be known as wainscoting, there should be a top trim sold with it which is stepped on the underside to fit over the top of the panels. Similar in appearance to the old dado rails everyone ripped out in the 60's. ;)
 
Thanks - easy to find these things online when you know the correct terms!

I don't think Wickes sell them with the top trim... should I be going to my local timber yard for this instead?
 
Yes, timber yards sometimes have it, or can fashion it by cutting a rebate into an exiting moulding.

Try a timber yard for the proper stuff, however if you are really stuck for getting some at a push you could try picture rail fitted upside down (picture rail has a recess on top to allow picture hooks to grip)(y)
