I am considering changing my Ideal Mexico Super2 boiler to a Viessmann Vitodens 100-W system boiler.
The room and cylinder thermostats currently supply switched live to their respective pumps, and for historical reasons cannot be changed to dry contact closures.
Does anyone know if the 100-W can be controlled by switched live lines ?
Many thanks in advance.

Thanks Chris. Can I confirm that this applies to the DHW demand as well as the Room Stat ?
The reason I ask is that I now have a wiring diagram which shows the optional live from a room stat, but the DHW sensor is only depicted as a contact closure, with indications it might be ground on one side.
I think wiring diags off the internet may not be for the UK model ?

Yes definitely. The cylinder was gravity fed until I changed the cylinder and it came with a smaller bore coil that forced me to pump it.
In fact, the thermostat puts live on a minival, which supplies the pump and the boiler with a live once it has opened.
