Views please - bathroom fan ducting terminating above soffit

On several new houses in a terrace the extractor fan pvc flexible ducting is terminating in the space above the soffit and under the tiles. There are no roof vent tiles or grilles fitted on the soffit itself.

This is for the bathroom and en-suite shower room.

There is the soffit trickle ventilation slots all the way along the soffit.

No! In cold weather the condensation within the eaves and soffit area will be bad. Bad enough to cause rot.

use a vent outlet to attach the pipe to and cut it into the soffit
