Ventilation options for ducting and extractor fans

Hi All,

I have an en-suite and a bathroom right next to each other, the nearest soffit it about 6m away, there is a rafter above the bathroom and ensuite.

I am thinking of the following in terms of options for ventilation.

4inch inline extractor fan

• I have the following questions, when using an inline extractor fan, how long can the ducting be ?
• If using a roof tile for ventilation, can I use a T to split the ducting for the bathroom and ensuite or does it have to be separate roof tiles ?

Ducting needs to be a short as possible (condensation) or vey well insulated if overly long with zero traps.

No, each fan needs its own duct and TVT (tile vent terminal).
