Vinyl flooring on old T&G Bathroom floor

Hi

I'm looking to lay vinyl flooring on old & gappy t&g floor boards. I've seen 6 mm concrete boards in tile shops. Would this be ok to lay on top of the floorboards rather than ripping up the floor and laying mdf sheets

I think the concrete boards can be made waterproof but wondering how smooth the finished floor would be

Any advice on first, would it be suitable and second how to finish it smooth, would be appreciated

Just put 6mm plywood down. Ring shank nails to fix it down.

Thanks Daz. Would I need to use any special stuff to seal the joints?

Yeah.
Use feather finish screed or micro coat.

What vinyl you laying?
