I need to get floor resurfaced. The needs to be 'leveled' (what ever that means) and then the new floor materials has to be put down. My question is - is there a material better than vinyl to put down? Apart from tiles.

What room is it? What look do you want for your flooring?
Luxury vinyl tiles like Karndean, Amtico ,polyflor etc are great for bathrooms.

Is it concrete then? The flooring company who do it should use a smoothing compound to level the floor.
