well i think they are

easy to get up but seem to leave some sort of black sticky stuff that was used to stick them down

how can i remove this as i want to put floor tiles down????
 
A quick once-over with a heat gun and a scraper worked just fine for me. Open the doors and windows, mind, or you'll be off to lala land! :lol:
