The boiler has been off for a few months until I repaired it last weekend.

The DHW flow is fine to upstairs and has only 1 m of 15 mm to the kitchen tap from the split to upstairs.

Virtually no flow to kitchen tap at all.

I expected it was a stuck washer but it disembled OK and was fine in side.

Its the type with 10 mm tails.

Can anyone guess where and how its blocked?

10mm flexies?

I guess a squashed inner hose, where the flexy appears still OK from the outside.

Could be a bit of fibre glass or Cylinder foam where the flexy narrows as it joins to the tap?

Oh good, another pointless quiz designed to make everyone feel just that little bit thicker.

Assuming that the boiler has been piped correctly, the flow and pressure are OK to the main inlet to the boiler and assuming that no other hot outlets are open and finally assuming that the system side of the boiler is intact and not leaking; then I would suspect that there is an obstruction or a leak or some other problem somewhere between where the cold water goes in and the hot water comes out.

However, I am probably wrong and the answer may possibly be something to do with the space time continuum or some such nobbing nonsense.

I think you would be far better off with the more traditional "My first is in spotted but not always in Dick. My second is gigantic and always in ego" etc etc

I quite like this sort of post from Agile but I am relatively new to the forum so don't know Agile's history.

One thing is for sure, there's a huge amount of women on this particular Forum

Be aware that some of the "women" may be men! One recently when we had told "her" the answer said she does not have to pretend to be "Dawn" any more.

Bathstyle, this is a monoblock tap with copper tails.

This is a combi ( thats why I said DHW ).

I also said the DHW is fine to the upstairs bathroom.

In spite of what Elite says, one or more person(s) will ( or may ) be right !

I dont know what the answer is ! I was asking for suggestions as its an odd senario and I wondered if anyone had any causes to suggest.

I have not investigated it yet.

No problem Agile, I understood that it was a combi but finding fibre glass and such like is still pretty common, as most places have a combi fitted as part of a system upgrade or downgrade if you like

I will have a think when I have more time, I assumed you had sussed it.

Agile, you've not investigated it yet but you know it has 10mm copper tails?? .....errrrrrr?
