visquine membrane question

Hi
We are about to order our membrane which is also to be used for some tanking, my first question is, shall we use 1 piece and come up the sides into the tanked area? or should we cut the tanked area off the membrane and join it later?

My 2nd question is regarding the building inspector,, at what point to we call her in to inspect the membrane? we currently have all the hardcore in and the site is ready to be blinded with sharp sand, do we call her before we lay the membrane or after?

The bc will want to inspect the hardcore so get them in now and show them the membrane you are using for their info.
Go by whatever the mi says in regards to fitting the membrane and taping joints.
Ideally you do not want cut it or at least minimise the cuts to maintain integrity.
