We have this Viessmann oil heating system at home and it has been working for many years however we left it unused for a couple months while the power to the unit was off. Recently we tried to turn the unit on it fires up only for a very short time but it shutoff quickly.
The control box gives an error "d1". Looking at the error coding says " the boiler is cooling/ burner fault/ control the burner".
We have checked the actual burner, oil motor etc and it seems okay with no obvious faults. My question is:
how to reactify the error d1?
