I know you can get the flexible socket/jubilee clip type of adaptor when connecting an old clay pipe to new 110mm plastic, but I need to connect to the clay collar. The top of the clay pipe is encased in concrete so I won't be able to grind off the collar and to be honest I'd rather not risk it. The inside of the collar measures about 165mm across. It drops steeply into the ground since it connects with the neighbours rainwater drain and there's a 1 metre drop within a 2 metre distance.

Is there a spigot type connector that would sit either inside the collar (and I guess cemented in), or ideally one that fits further down into the pipe itself? I found this online at Wickes http://www.wickes.co.uk/pvcu-soil-t...ll do so in a min! Any ideas please?

Wickes part goes over the spigot of the pipe, wont fit the collar. Options are, McAlpine DC-1 or equivalent or an Osma 4D107 or equivalent. McAlpine part fits inside the pipe, but will put a step in the run so not advised for a foul run. Osma part fits inside the collar, will need a mortar fillet to seal the joint.

Thank you v much Hugh. Perfect.

Nevertheless, photo now uploaded on album for what it's worth.
