Vivaro Problem

I saw a similar post on here but i cant find it again. Anyways im looking at buying a vivaro, problem is the one i was going to buy has developed a problem of cutting out while driving. it just cuts out but then you can re-start it immediately. I saw alot of people mentioned the problem with the high pressure pumps failing i was just wondering if it could be anything else?

Help much appreciated.

I bought a 2004 reg 40k miles vivaro last November and apparently have a diesel pump problem,Vauxhall want stupid money to repair it and having found someone I can trust to diagnose it I am told it is a very common problem on the renault common rail engine. However I am also told sometimes it can be an electrical fault in the wiring loom. I await the results, was the glow plug light not going out as a matter of interest

Might be worth asking the question on this forum, theres at least one independent Vauxhall specialist on there who may be able to help.
