Vokera 14/48 se...flow switch

Is the flow switch operated by the silver pin being pushed out when the pump is running and then retracting when the pump is off, and should I be able to see this movement happening as the pump switches on and off, I suspect the silver pin to be sticking in the out position, would this need a clean and a new diaphragm fitted to solve this problem.

Not sure which one you are mentioning but beware!

Unusually, many of the early Vokeras had a pin which RETRACTS when the pump runs!

As far as I am aware they are the only manufacturer to do that!
