As a follow on from the two previous posts that concerned the above problem i have deduced that the boiler is stopping due to an over temp problem that is being picked up by the primary thermistor. When the boiler cuts out after a short period of operation i plug in a spare thermistor (and leave it outside the boiler) and it fires up straight away and will run without any issues.
According to the Vokera literature this primary thermistor compares its value with the heating pot on the front of the boiler and if the thermistor sees a temp greater than what the pot value is set too it will stop the boiler operation. This seems to be where we are at the moment.
Any thoughts.
