Hi, I have this boiler and have the instruction manual but am trying to find out how I know what temperature the heating is on at. On the boiler it is a dial that you turn clockwise, the further round you turn it the higher the temp, but I have no idea what as there is nothing to indicate temperature. In the manual it doesn't say either. Does anyone know?

On another note, I had a problem,( like many others I have noticed on this forum) with the water running cold. I had British Gas fix it earlier this year on the one off thing they do. A new microswitch but it didn't help much. Now they have come and put in a new PCB ignition control and have charged me again. Do you know where I stand as it was within 12 months of the 1st repair? Should I be charged again?

Thanks :)

The actual temperature does not matter that much for a non-condensing boiler, though out of principal I would avoid running it at very max unless needed to get the house warm enough. Your roomstat will turn the boiler of when it is warm enough.

Unless you can prove the second fault is the same as the first, there is not a whole lot you can do but pay up
