vokera boiler only on when hot water on

HI

I have a vokera boiler.

It's doing something funny. WHen i turn the heating on full, it only turns on if I turn the hot water tap on

Any idea?

go on narrow it down a bit for us

It's a vokera SP

When i turn it on fix on, it does not turn on ie the heating.

When i then turn the hot water on, the heating turns on.

Cannot put it on auto mode as it does not seem to switch on, unless hot water is put on first

Any ideas?
