Vokera Linea 24 Bolier with strange problem

Hi to all the experts,

This morning my Vokera Linea 24 has developed what i see as a strange fault.

Boiler is located upstairs. All upstairs rads get hot but only when heating turned to full and hot water turned to full. When the water is turned down from full then the boiler will not ignite and i just hear the fan running .

All downstairs rads are cold.

Pressure in boiler is 1.5

Boiler Fan is on continually.

I have bled all the radiators, one had air but is clear now. All the rest are ok.

House is warm upstairs and freezing downstairs!!

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

It sounds as if your boiler is stuck in the DHW mode!

I switched the setting to hot water only and have the same problem with the fan running continually when there is no demand for water. Also even when there is no demand, the boiler still ignites for around 20 seconds.

Seems like the problem is the same whether in DHW or DCH mode.

Just noticed now that even when the HW and CH is set to full, the boiler doesn't feel the need to light up. It will only light now when a hot tap is turned.

Radiators upstairs now cooling down and the ones downstairs freezing cold.

Any other suggestions of what i could try???????

Check DHW demand switch if you can do that safely.
