Hi could any one tell me, when boiler is operating is the c/h return vavle supposed to be open or closed,as my pressure keeps rising. any response appreciated thanks ezz.

Hi.... the CH return valve should of course be open..... i assume you mean the ones underneath the boiler.
Pressure rise is normal during heating of the system owing to hot water expansion.. However, excessive expansion points to a fault on the expansion vessel within the appliance.
Have the system checked by a qualified engineer.
