when my hot tap is turned on my boiler will only heat up the water to a certain temp then cut out, then kick back in again, it says 64 deg but this is not the actual temp of the water coming from tap. the water does not get hot enough for bath or shower.

anybody help?

is the burner cycling on and off rapidly?

does it do it when the central heating is on?

central heating works great, it does it wether the heating is on or off. the boiler has a perfect flame, no problems with it at all.

sounds like it. there are a few other possibilities too

it needs attention from an engineer mate

Just as it cuts off turn the hot tap off quickly , the digital display on the front will change. If it goes to 90 deg or above your problem lies with the plate heat exchanger.
