Vokera Linea Max Room Thermostat

Hi,

I have a Linear max boiler with one of the digital 7 day timer controllers on but do not have an external room thermostat. I read somewhere that not having a room thermostat is probably not the most efficient.
Firstly is that true ?
If it is I would like to add a wireless room thermostat, can this still work with the 7 day timer I already have or would it replace it ?

external or internal clock? not that it makes much difference. the clock and wireless stat are largely seperate.
the stat goes after the clock on the switched live to the boiler. cant imagine you will have any problems if you follow the instructions that come with the stat.
