Vokera Maxin 24e Non running

Started going wrong last Summer. The boiler would 'gurgle' when drawing hot water then stop. Got a local company out who charged me £200 to replace a valve.
4 weeks later started doing the same thing. They then said it was the heat exchanger. I've lived with it because if I ran the tap slowly it would be ok.

Last week got a big 'gurgle' and then both the hot water and the central heating stopped.

2 plumbers have failed to turn up so here I am asking for help.

When I turn the boiler on, there is a quite humm but no ignition

Do you have water in the system - what does the pressure gauge read?

As far as I know there is water in the system. How would I check this.
The gauge reads zero out of 3

I dont know, exactly, what you mean by "zero out of 3".
The black needle on the pressure gauge should be between 1 & 1½ when the system is cold.

Sorry for long Delay, been away.

Found the fill tap, got the pressure up to 3 on the gauge, have heating. Thanks for the advice. The lack of hot water from the tap is due to the Heat Exchanger. That will be replaced later this week
