just had boiler recently installed as part of refit/replumb. when hot water is run and then turned off, after a short period of time there is a roaring sound from boiler, as though air trapped. Tried bleeding the release valve on top, but only water came out.

Any thoughts on what might be causing this?

Many thanks for any advice

thanks GG.

sorry, what do you mean by dead leg?

As part of the refit the old h/w feeds were converted to be fed from the combi boiler instead of the h/w tank, and I've run all hot taps to try and remove any air.
