VOLEX shower consumer unit

I have read several negative comments regarding the Volex shower consumer unit.
Volex seem to be a reputable electrical manufacturer and this product is
competitively priced.Am I missing something?

If so what would be the best make to upgrade to?

wylex, nah volex is not dangerous it's just very poor quality hard to work with, ur name is awesome by the way!

The emphasis being on 'hard to work with'. I could fit a Crabtree Starbreaker in HALF the time (I have fitted both CU's)

A word of warning
Newey & Eyre tried to palm me off a CU the other day that was made by volex but rebadged, soz gents but cant recall the brand
