Junction box is normal there are special ones for lighting with clamps to hold cables.
Look at what you have, make a plan, execute the plan.
We really can't say much more than that without knowing more details.
Which particular v-tac products are you using? do they come with fixed tails of cable? some sort of plug and socket linking system? space to terminate your own cables? (and if so do they have space for multiple cables) how are the current lights switched? are there any existing junction boxes? do you want all the lights on the same switch? or would you prefer seperate switches?
