VW Golf 2012 2.0 TDI Fog Lights on Dash not working

Hi All

The Car failed its MOT due to Fog Light not showing on Dashboard or being on. Replaced Blown Bulb. Foglights symbol still not showing on the dashboard Replaced switch same problem. Cannot find which fuse relates to fog lights!!

Is the rear fog lamp actually working now? The fuses for these aren't always marked and may share a common one. Do check the fuses near to the battery though, just in case something else has failed.

did you remove dash to fit new bulb ? The bulbs are fed by a thin printed circuit board/ribbon and this may be damaged .
May need, if fuses are ok to access dash circuit board and check for a live feed and earth path on the circuit board where the bulb twists into

Wow - replacement switch on ebay £20 the 10 seconds to swap over - push switch in and turn to left and it pulls out
