I'd say the wiring loom to the radio assembley is damaged (pinched or trapped between some metal work).

Hi wgt52

Many thanks for the reply, how hard is it to replace the wiring loom and where would I be able to get from?

Probably cheaper to get an autoelectrician to find the damage on the loom ad repair it rather than replace.

I'm not sure on the speaker codes but if they all work ok I would not worry about them, perhaps they logged when you changed the unit.
Try clearing them and code read again see what comes back, it certainly points to an aerial issue.
Does it have a roof mount aerial?

He mentioned poor quality sound so I think it may be more than the aerial. How does it sound on CD or USB?

Hi All

The clarity when it comes to USB etc. is all fine so please ignore the speaker codes. The issue really is with Radio reception (codes 011 and 007). I have tried to change the radio signal amplifier to no avail.

The aerial may have an amplifier. See if it's getting any power or any in-line fuses have blown

Yes have replaced the Ariel Amplifier but sound still the same. Ariel element incorporated into rear windscreen heating element all looks fine, all connections seem fine no cracked solder joints etc.
