VW polo rear wiper

I have a vw polo 52 plate and the rear motor for the wiper blade has stoped working but screen wash still works, the fuse is fine and i changed the motor and it still did not work any ideas?

Broken supply wire going from the wiper switch on the car to the tailgate in the rubber boot thing at the top. Or you could try putting on a new earth strap (temporary) between tailgate and the bodywork, just to ensure its not just the earth that has broken (brown wire in the rubber boot)
