Wago connectors and ceiling light

I have a new light fitting for my bedroom and was going to use Wago's to connect since they're quick and easy. I don't want to have to buy a stack of different sizes and types if I don't need to..................so question is please, what would I need for this fitting? The new flush fitting has a neutral, live and earth

The existing ceiling rose will have to come down. The new one would fit over it, but I wouldn't be able to get the bracket in to screw it to the ceiling.

Are the levered ones (221 I think) purely for terminating or can you use it to also attach the wire from the light into? And if I had a three, can you leave one empty if I only need a 2?

if you mean the one wago 2 or 3 way - THEY all join together
so not like a junction box

you cant just use 1 wago - you will need a wago - for each of the connections shown
in @EFLImpudence image

i dont know if you can put those into the LAMP box thing, or if they need to be enclosed in a box - re current regs, so i will let someone else answer that bit

but on a wago you can leave a connection free - so a three way - you can use 2 of the connections

I reckon you could put the bracket under the old ceiling rose and connect the new light into it.

Can't thinkn of a reason not to, im sure someone will

If you want Wagos buy a pack of 5-ways and use as many ways as you need. The only advantage of using multiple types is saving space. And yes, you can use Wagos for the wires from the light too.

That isn't a ceiling rose BTW, it's a socket.

One option my be to unscrew the fitting, mount the bracket on the ceiling

then replace the fitting
