Wall fixing for ceramic pot?

Ok this is by far the most challenging thing I’ve ever posted on here, how the hell do you fix one of these to the wall? Just 2 big holes top and bottom. Shall I just try and drill more holes in it without smashing it?

Just use large penny washers and two screws. Stainless steel would be the better option but more expensive.

Cheaper option


The above are 25mm, it doesn't matter too much if the washers are slightly smaller than the holes, they will be large enough to "grab" the pot. Don't over tighten them though.

For a absolute solid fix have a look for Fischer basin fixings made to fix ceramic back to well.

I can see where you are going with that but I assume that the OP doesn't want threaded bolts and a big plastic nut sticking out.

I'd have added a rubber washer too, or make one up with an old rubber car mat or something.
