I am planning to install the above with new concealed pipes. I've had some advice on another forum and been scouring the net. I have found images and details such as this:

I was wondering if basins typically come with templates which indicate where these things need to be or do these need to be known from elsewhere?

Looks like they've used the basin dimensions themselves as a template.

Every type is different, so you need to check against the one you're going to buy/fit.
