Wall Light - looping in at switch

I posted a thread some weeks ago concerning connecting an outside light by making all the connections at the light switch.

I followed the instructions I was given and it worked perfectly. I now plan to connect an interior wall light using the same approach and for the same reason namely that using a junction box would mean it being in an inaccessible position. As far as I can tell, this is absolutely identical to my original enquiry and so I assume that it will work. However, I have 2 questions:

1. Whilst it is not essential, I would, if possible, like to make the wall light in question a two-way light. Bearing in mind how I plan to connect the cables at the switch, is it possible to connect a 3C+E cable to these existing connections in order to facilitate a two-way switch ? Does the feed cable from the ceiling rose to the switch need to be 3C+E as well ?

2. The ceiling rose from which I plan to take the live feed to the above already has all its connections used up so I simply plan to squeeze more wires into the existing loop connections. Do ceiling roses exist that have more connections than the usual 3/3/2 arrangement ?

yep as with any two way switch setup you just take the in and out power to L1 and L2 and then strap the switches together with the 3+E

of course not

never seen one with more terminals but you should be able to get the wires in without too much trouble

My question about 3C+E to the rose was pretty stupid, now that I think about it.

To minimise (i.e. limit to one) the number of cables emerging from the wall at each of two wall lights, is it acceptable - where a junction box would be necessarily inaccessible - to loop in both fittings at the switch?

sure just make sure you give yourself a deep enough backbox to easilly make all the connections you plan on.
