I am installing a new bath that has no taps on it only a bath filler/combination over flow. I have a Crosswater thermostatic shower mixer that has been sold to me by The Bathstore to be used as the hot/cold mixer to feed the bath filler.
My question is the shower mixer I have is normally mounted with the outlet at the top to feed a shower head but in my application the bath filler is piped under the bath so the pipework will need to drop down to floor level. Will I have to turn the mixer up the other way so that the outlet points down or if I leave it as the standard shower top exit will I have a potential air locking problem at the outlet where the pipework drops down to the bath filler?
Your advice would be appreciated.
