Wallpaper paste - Use by?

After mixing wallpaper paste such as Solvite, is it still okay to use the paste after a week?

The reason I ask is I Googled this question and some of the sites say wallpaper paste is only good for a few days after being mixed.

I wouldn't.

It's so cheap anyway so either mix what you want for that day (use kitchen scales) or use the ready mixed as you can put lid back on and will keep for weeks.
Also nicer to use as lower water content
